The one where there's less than a week left!!

So I'm keeping up appearances of this journal being completely functionless because I never update it after events. Hyper Japan has WAY been and gone and we did all of the Homestucks! Though I didn't manage to take many photos myself, the four of us (myself, owntempo, yuka-rin and DahliaGrimm) went around London on Sunday with the amazing photographer Chi and did the touristy thing!

Other than that, we had our big Hivebent shoot, which for vaaaaarious reasons didn't go completely to plan, haha! But there are some nice photos of people which Blasteh managed to get! So the weekend wasn't a TOTAL failure (I hope!). We're potentially reorganising to August some time with a better base of operations and warmer weather!

• May Expo - London 25th-27th May
• Japan Expo - Paris 5th-8th July
• October Expo - London 26th-28th October

As with all things, my con plans fluctuated and withered and here's where they stand a week before. I've had to drop various things because of time/money/uni commitments and take on some simpler things. Also I've had to drop out of my own group for Thursday because my ride got cancelled and now I have to take the MegaBus which will get me in too late on Thursday to really /do/ anything. So... here's where I stand currently.

• Peeta Mellark - The Hunger Games: It's strange that this is not the first costume I've  done where I've had real bread as a prop.
• Marquise Spinerette Mindfang - Homestuck: Ancestors group! Somehow I've managed to work my magic and create a HUGE group now! So joing myself, owntempo as Dolorosa and KumaUK as Dualscar will be; yuka-rin as the Handmaid, DahliaGrimm as the Sufferer, Isamiaella as the Empress and Eternal-Aranel as the Disciple!! I literally cannot hold all of these excites
• Jake English - Homestuck: Here's where the Homestuck cosplays start piling up XD This is for the Saturday night party with DahliaGrimm as my Bro, owntempo as Jane and Isamiaella as Roxy. GOLLY SHORTS AND SHOTS TIME AHEAD, IT SEEMS.
• God Tier Jade Harley: Yeah. I'm joining the ranks of the Dog Tiers to join the everpresent Strider, Dahlia-Ruin and permanent member of the blue team owntempo with Isamiaella as the lovely Seer~ This'll be my third God Tier outfit. Something tells me it's not gonna stop there.
• Jade Harley: This is my prom outfit ;w; Art is by Mookie000 on tumblr. I cannot wait to be like, elegant and shit! Especially with the regular offenders as Dave, John and Rose.

So yep, that's the plan!

For may Expo, I'm hoping these plans don't stray too far from base.

This was a hard one, because I have too many amazing people on here that I watch and want to share with everyone else. I guess since I've done all the others I'll whack in this one to complete the set, as it were.
After copious amounts of (hopefully mutual...) tumblr stalking last year, I managed to steal this one into our circle of cosplay. Now whether she likes it or not... usually not... she's become what is probably a more permanent fixture in our groups and a really close friend on the process!
Off to conquer Europe with yuka-rin at ECG in July, she's an amazingly talented cosplayer as well as a pretty chill bro.
(but her gallery is pitifully small and needs more pictures in it!!)
